A comedian, writer, broadcaster, champion of the disabled and father of two girls with his wife, opera and cabaret singer Ali McGregor. Adam used his platform on the high-rating UK television show, The Last Leg, to call out a deeply offensive post on Facebook and voice his support for the breastfeeding mother targeted in the post.
The ‘anonymous’ post featured a picture of Emily Slough temporarily stopped in a doorway to feed her eight month old daughter on her way into town. A random guy took it upon himself to snap the picture and post it to Facebook, calling Emily a ‘tramp’ for breastfeeding in public. The post went viral, causing outrage with most people who found it invasive and incredibly rude.
Adam’s response was pure gold (click ‘Watch Video’ for the full clip):
“Do you have any idea what it’s like to hold a hungry crying baby? I do because I’ve got two daughters and I’ll tell you right now, if I could whip out a hairy man boob and dispense a frothy milkshake, I would. Regardless of time or place…”
