Teresa Palmer
LA-based Australian actress Teresa Palmer has made a point of combining her attachment parenting approach to raising her (and husband Mark Webber’s) son Bodhi Rain, along with being a working actor. Teresa’s debut film 2:37 received a standing ovation at Cannes, she appeared opposite Joel Edgerton in Wish You Were Here, starred in Jerry Bruckheimer’s Disney film, The Sorcerer’s Apprentice and starred in the remake of Point Break to name just a few memorable roles.
Teresa says she is sick of the public breastfeeding stigma and wants to stand up for women, especially new Mums – who may be doubting themselves. Her concern is that the taboo that still surrounds breastfeeding could be damaging for new mothers.
“I think it’s really detrimental to some women who are starting their breastfeeding journey with their babies, and feeling any sense of shame.”
