I pledge to support mums and dads out there who need a friend when being in a public place. If you have to feed and you seem uncomfortable or scared, don’t worry because chances are me and my Bub will already be feeding. Let’s break this mold together, everyone gets hungry!

I pledge to offer support to all mothers as best I can. I believe breastfeeding was the right choice for me and for my children. They have benefited from being breastfeed.I also know some mothers who wanted to nurse their baby(ies) have not been successful for a multitude of reasons – been judged and lack of support among them.
In the second year (12-23 months), 448 mL of breastmilk provides:

76% of folate requirements
94% of vitamin B12 requirements
60% of vitamin C requirements — Dewey 2001 “

I find it very strange to think about “normalising breastfeeding ” it feels like I want to normalise giving food/comfort to a baby/child. Some do it in the form of a bottle, some do it in the form of a packet/pouch, band aids etc I use my BOOBS!!!

I pledge to feed in public uncovered whenever my baby/toddler needs it. I pledge to help get rid of #lactaboobiephobia by exposing others to what really happens when a baby/toddler is fed in public. The child is more settled and people don’t see as much as they think they will. I pledge to help women everywhere feel more comfortable about nourishing their children.
